The short version
Notte does not require an account and does not send your notes to us. Notes and the local context used to organize them stay on your Mac.
What Notte accesses
To show the right notes, Notte reads the active application and, when available, the active window context on your Mac. This information is processed locally to group and display notes. It is not sent to a Notte server.
What Notte stores
Notes are stored locally in Notte’s application data on your Mac. The app may also store local preferences such as your shortcut and whether you want Notte to start at login. Notte does not collect analytics, serve advertising, or maintain a cloud account for this data.
Purchases
If you choose to buy a coffee, Apple processes the transaction through the App Store. Notte receives the transaction result needed to complete the purchase, but does not receive your payment card details. Apple’s privacy policy and App Store terms apply to Apple’s processing.
Data retention and deletion
Your notes remain on your Mac until you edit or delete them, or remove Notte’s local application data. You can delete individual notes in Notte. Because Notte does not keep a server copy, there is no Notte account data to request or delete remotely.

This website is a set of static pages. It does not use advertising cookies, analytics, or an account system.
